Frequently Asked Questions
What ages do you work with?
I provide therapy for children starting at age 5, adolescents, and adults. My approach is tailored to each developmental stage, with a particular focus on emotional regulation, attention challenges (such as ADHD), and family dynamics.
Do you offer family therapy?
Yes. I strongly encourage a family therapy approach when working with children and adolescents, especially younger clients. Family sessions help strengthen communication, clarify roles, and promote healthier relational patterns within the home. However, the structure of therapy is flexible and aligned with your specific goals.
What kinds of services do you offer?
Services include:
Individual therapy for children, teens, and adults
Family therapy
Parenting support for caregivers of children with behavioral or attention challenges
In-home implementation options (case-by-case)
Consultation services for school or care coordination
What can I expect in a free consultation?
The initial consultation is a brief (15–20 minute) phone or video call to determine whether we’re a good fit. During this time, we’ll discuss your needs, goals for therapy, and any questions you have about my approach, fees, or availability.
How do I schedule an appointment?
To schedule a consultation or therapy session, please reach out via the contact form listed on the website. You may also request a phone call to determine the best service option for your needs.
Do you accept insurance?
At this time, I operate as a private-pay provider. I can provide a superbill for clients who wish to seek reimbursement through their out-of-network benefits.
Where are sessions held?
Most sessions are conducted via secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth. In-person appointments may be available on a limited basis depending on clinical needs and location.
Do you offer evening or weekend sessions?
Limited evening sessions are available. Weekend appointments may be offered on a case-by-case basis.
What is your approach to working with ADHD and attention challenges?
I specialize in working with children and teens with ADHD or other attention-related challenges. I use a systems-based approach that integrates structured parenting strategies, individualized behavioral planning, and emotional skill-building. Support often includes direct parent coaching and collaboration with schools or other providers when needed.
How do I schedule an appointment?
You can request a session by filling out the contact form or emailing me directly. I will respond within 1–2 business days with available times and next steps. Please note: availability is currently very limited due to high demand and an active waitlist. I will do my best to accommodate your request or offer referrals if needed.
What are your session fees?
$175 for a 50-minute individual or family session
$100 for 30-minute parenting sessions
What is your cancellation or no-show policy?
Cancellations require at least 24 hours’ notice. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice—or missed without notice—will be subject to the full session fee. This policy allows me to hold consistent availability for all clients.
How long does therapy last?
The length of therapy varies based on individual needs and goals. Some clients benefit from short-term, goal-focused work (8–12 sessions), while others prefer longer-term support. We will review your progress together periodically and adjust the plan as needed.
